Sound editing exercise
Apart from adding titles to the title sequence that we edited, we also had to add sound to it as it had no sound whatsoever. This was a chance for me to learn various ways in which to add sound to a video, which I've never done before. In order to add sound to the clip, we had two different ways to do it. One was to use Soundtrack Pro, which is a program that allows you to mix different sounds together and edit them in order to make the sound fit with the clip at the same time. Another option, which involves more physical work, was to create ourselves 'foley' sounds with a sound recorder and then add them in the parts that were needed within the clip. Examples of Foley sounds were in our prelim, where we had to recreate the table tapping noise as it was not picked up well by the microphone.
