Planning - Target Audience
Target Audience is going to be very important when planning out our thriller opening. We have decided to have our Thriller opening at a mature audience, age rating of 15+, allowing us to use certain elements such as blood and gore if necessary. Furthermore after research we found that on average, successful thriller openings are often presented to a younger yet matured age group (15-30) and is most popular among them. Therefore in order to make our opening as successful as possible, we will target this audience. Furthermore our Thriller film would probably also most attract teens and large groups of friends, therefore we will keep this in mind when creating a storyboard and idea in order to ensure that we can be as successful as possible We understand that our film can be for either males or females, the elements and scenes can attract both genders.
