PLANNING - Target audience

Our thriller film is aimed for those aged 15+ because this is the general rating for most thrillers although it can vary depending on the sub-genres that film contains. Also because our thriller contains psychological issues such as psychosis, which some younger viewers may find offensive or disturbing, 15+ is a suitable age to handle and understand the content shown in the film. Although, I don't feel our thriller contains any offensive footage, it just may be a bit tricky or take longer for the audience to realise the man is mentally ill when trying to comprehend what he is doing and why he is doing it.
